Eco-design at
Kalenji :

we can do better –
and we’ll prove it to you !

If you’ve arrived at this page, it’s probably because you’re intrigued by eco-design and want to know more. Well, that’s handy! Because today we’ll be doing a round-up of all our environmental commitments.

Reducing our impact on the planet is one of our key aims, but we can do better – and we know it!

That’s why we don’t just offer increasingly hi-tech sports products, but are also committed to designing 100% of our products in a more ecologically friendly way. To achieve this aim, we’ve decided to use materials from more sustainable sources and/or manufacturing processes with a smaller environmental impact. So we can be instrumental in the wellbeing of our sportspeople as well as that of our planet!

What is

Eco-design?

Eco-design means designing products while taking into account environmental issues such as resources depletion, and water and air pollution.

This strategy ensures the product’s lifecycle remains at the heart of the project: from raw materials used, through to its manufacturing, transport, usage and end-of-life stage.

At Kalenji,

this can happen in various ways, either by reducing the impact of our products by at least 10% compared with the previous model, or by using more responsible and less energy-consuming techniques and materials.
