Stretching your adductor muscles

Why stretch?

Stretching tenses your muscles or muscle groups by lengthening them. Stretching helps to improve joint flexibility and avoid musculotendinous injuries. 

 

Coach's advice: keep your knees together throughout the entire stretching exercise, and your hips angled towards the back.

 

KALENJI & OXYLANE RESEARCH suggest:

 

1) Stand upright, with your feet together and legs straight.

 

2) Slightly swivel your hips forward. 

 

3) Grab your right foot with your right hand and pull your heel towards your glutes. 

 

4) Hold the position and then switch legs.
