Hamstring stretches

WHY STRETCH ?

Stretching tenses your muscles or muscle groups by lengthening them. Stretching helps to improve joint flexibility and avoid musculotendinous injuries. 

 

Coach's advice:  When you have completed the exercise, straighten up very slowly (one vertebra at a time).

Etirement des ischios

 

1) Stand with your feet parallel, a hip-width apart and your legs straight.

2) Slowly lean forwards with your arms hanging straight down.

3) Try to bring the lower abdomen muscles closer to the top of your thighs while keeping your back and legs straight.

4) Relax your neck muscles.

5) Hold the position.
