Hamstring stretches

Why stretch?

Stretching tenses your muscles or muscle groups by lengthening them. Stretching helps to improve joint flexibility and avoid musculotendinous injuries


Coach's advice: for more stability, place a hand on either side of the leg in front.

1) Bend your left leg to 90° on the ground, level with your hips.

2) Stretch your right leg out in front of you without moving your left knee.

3) Keep your back straight and lean forward to bring your lower abdomen towards your thigh.

4) Once you start to feel a stretch at the back of your thighs, keep the same position and point the toes of the leg that's stretched out towards you.

5) Hold the position and then switch legs.
