Hamstring and adductor stretch

Why stretch?

Stretching tenses your muscles or muscle groups by lengthening them. Stretching helps to improve joint flexibility and avoid musculotendinous injuries. 

 

Coach's advice: do this stretch 3 times!

 

KALENJI & OXYLANE RESEARCH suggest:

Etirement des ischios et adducteurs

 

1) Stand upright, with your feet parallel and farther apart than your hips (the more flexible your are, the wider you can stretch) and legs straight.

2) Slowly lean forwards with your arms hanging straight down.

3) Try to bring the lower abdomen muscles closer to your thighs while keeping your back and legs straight.

4) Relax your neck muscles.

5) Hold the position

6) Once you have completed the exercise, straighten up very slowly (one vertebra at a time).
