Glutes stretch

Why stretch ?

Stretching tenses your muscles or muscle groups by lengthening them. Stretching helps to improve joint flexibility and avoid musculotendinous injuries. 

 

Coach's advice:  When you are bending and lifting your knee towards your chest, don't strain yourself! As soon as you feel a stretch, hold the position for at least 30 seconds.

 

KALENJI & OXYLANE RESEARCH suggest:

 

1) Lie flat on your back with your legs straight.

2) Bend and lift your right knee towards your chest without lifting your glutes off the floor.

3) Use your hands to pull your knee towards you.

4) Keep the same position and switch legs.
