Adductor stretches

 

Why stretch ?

Stretching tenses your muscles or muscle groups by lengthening them. Stretching helps to improve joint flexibility and avoid musculotendinous injuries. 

 

KALENJI & OXYLANE RESEARCH suggest: 

 

Coach's advice: When stretching your adductor muscles, keep your shoulders straight to avoid hunching the upper body .

 

1) Sit on the ground, with your back straight, legs bent and the soles of your feet touching. Place your hands on your ankles. 

2) Your feet should not be too close to your groin.

3) Your elbows should be bent, leaning on the inner side of the knees.

4) Keeping your back perfectly straight, lean forward gently and lean on your elbows to push your knees towards the ground.

5) Hold the position
