Eliorun Men's Running Shoes - Red/Black
Running for up to 60 min twice a week on roads and on trails.
These trainers are comfortable and lightweight for regular running training. Special attention has been devoted to the sole to offer a high level of cushioning and flexibility so that your feet move naturally with every stride, thanks to the flex grooves and a 6 mm drop.
In addition to being comfortable, lightweight and equipped with an internal sockliner designed for extreme comfort, the Eliorun has EVA foam padding that provides sufficient cushioning for regular use (two weekly outings).
- The K-RING cushioning technology: your comfort guarantee
The exclusive K-Ring technology is Kalenji's cushioning technology. Its effectiveness relies on the following 3 principles: an EVA foam material that absorbs shocks, a circular shape that ensures the best type of distortion and a hole at the centre to protect your heel.

I am delighted with these shoes. They have a low drop (6mm) and are very comfortable for long road runs (2hrs) - excellent. I hope the durability proves as good as the shoes comfort.
I would encourage Decathlon to consider producing something similar but for a trail or fell environment - 6mm or less drop and large sizes - the 13 is an excellent fit.
Well done on an excellent shoe at a fantastic price!

I kind of like the quirky colours on the trainers, but primarily they feel great (like carpet slippers). The only tiny gripe is there is no extra hole for locking laces, which I do like to do when running. This is not enough to knock a star off though.

I started running in September 2015 at the age of 64 and use the Ekiden shoes which I found very good. However I wanted to upgrade and the Eliorun was my shoe of choice. It combines improved comfort and performance with a very snug fit and at an affordable price. The finish is very good and the shoes look smart. The only comment I would make is why there is a central area of the sole which does not have the rubber grip? However it does not appear to adversely affect the traction. I would be interested in Decathlons comment on this.
