Cycling is the perfect partner for runners!
Got these for my partner as she was doing a charity walk up Snowden. She did not want hiking boots so got these as they would give reasonable grip on the trails. She said they were really comfortable even though her feet got soaked, but she was not expecting rain that day so we did not buy waterproof boots so our fault really there. She now uses them for walking and jogging and really rates them
Hazardous on wet surfaces. I took my brand new Kapterens for a relatively easy half hour trail walk after the rain and it was so stressful because the soles offered zero grip on damp rocks, leaves etc. It was even easier to walk the trail barefooted actually. After failing as a trail shoe, I decided to convert the Kapterens for light road usage. Same thing - zero traction on wet roads. I have no idea what to do with my shoes because I live in a tropical country. Maybe if you a stay in country that hardly rains, you might fare better than me.
